Yo Khoanh says the Mnong term for banana leaf, “ha ju”. The banana leaves were used in the past to shape the rim of the pots. Nowadays, potters use a piece of cloth instead. Using the banana leaf is easier, but using the cloth is faster, so that's why they use the cloth now.
