Name of the action of scraping the outside of the pottery with the fingers during the shaping in Mnong language (Yang Tao village)

When making the pottery, once the pot has reach a desired height, the potter uses her left hand as a support on the outside and begins to scrape the inside with her fingertips, while still turning backwards around the support, creating diagonal lines all around the pot. This action both regularises the surface and erases the joints between the attached parts. It also raises the walls a little more. Yo Khoanh and Mai Khanh are saying the name of this action, “bak”, in Mnong language.
