Võ Thị Sương says the name of the firing structure in Vietnamese: lò gốm (lit. furnace pottery). In this village, the structure a simple circular structure, about 1m50 high and 45cm wide, made mostly of brick and clay. It has two openings. In the centre there is a raised circular platform 1m10 wide. Metal bars connect the walls and the top of the platform to let in the heat of the fire.
