Accommodating the hull amidships to the shape of a half-frame

Boat builder Dipak Mondal (L, part hidden) drives home a nail from outboard through the sheer strake and a half frame amidships. Application of pressure to a lever passed through the yellow rope will close the gap between the hull and half-frame. n this way, the equal curvature of the central six pairs of half frames will be imposed along the hull amidships.
