Master builder Osofo Kwame Mensah stands as he presses moist daub onto the wattle frame of a structure being built on the grounds of the Banda Cultural Centre, the yellow wall of which is in the background. The vertical wood posts and horizontal raffia slats are being covered with a thick layer of daub. The lower levels of the wall have begun to dry, with cracks showing where the pads of daub were added. Kwaku Nsuah carries a head pan with additional pads of daub. To the right, behind the structure, Kofi Shie sits on the ground forming daub pads from a pile of moist earth. Jerry cans lying in the background have been used to transport water to the work site.
