Applying a lever to the first garboard strake

Boat builder Panchanan Mondal (R) pulls down on a lever applied to the forward end of the first garboard strake (starboard side) to force it into position for stapling. The rest of the plank is supported by clamps. Son Dilip holds the other end of the lever in place.
