Balancing the hull after completion of main-hull planking

Boat builder Manimohan Mondal uses a string extended from the stern survey nail to make a chalk mark on the top edge of the tenth port strake; the distance is that of a straight line from the nail to one of the datums that was marked on the keel at the time of the keel-and-post balancing process. This will be repeated on both sides of the hull for all seven datum points.
