EMKP community researcher Enoch Mensah holds a blue plastic sheet as he prepares to cover bundles of stripped bark in a shallow hole in an earth dug from the adjacent pit in preparation for building two earth-wall structures at the Banda Cultural Centre. The bark fibre will be used for binding the wood and raffia stick frame of a wattle-and-daub structure. He buries and covers it to preserve its malleability. Banda-Ahenkro, Banda District, Ghana.
