General view of green coffee beans (Coffea arabica). Originally the coffee leaves and nowadays the beans are both important economic and cultural resources for the Chabu. The coffee leaves infusion –kari– has been a common and popular beverage among southwestern Ethiopian communities, including Chabu and Majang.
