Decoration on a cooking pot in Buôn Trấp village 2/2

The pots are decorated after being polished and right before the final drying. The only decoration consists of lines incised using a bamboo stick called gê k’nơr, situated on the shoulder of the pot. On this cooking pots the lines have been made by a specific type of gê k’nat : one end of it was formed as a small fork that allows the potters to make three lines at the same time. The lines alternate between straight and wavy lines.
