Digging a post hole

Builder Kwadwo David Manoo uses a long-handled tool with a blade mounted on its end to dig a post hole into which a vertical post of a wattle frame will be placed. A corner post of the structure can be seen to his right. A long pole laid on the ground along the outside edge of the wattle frame serves as a guide for placement of the post holes. Long poles that will be used to make the wattle frame lie on the ground nearby. Banda-Ahenkro, Banda District, Ghana.
