Using his right hand, a young man scoops dirt from a hole that he is digging to accommodate the corner post of a wattle frame structure being built on the grounds of the Banda Cultural Centre. The cutlass that he has used to dig the hole lies on the ground nearby. A stick lying on the ground by his left hand is one that he uses to measure the depth of the hole.
