Ending the foundational rows of a raffia mat

Nafana mat weaver (deŋglɛ tinfun) Alexander Owusu finishes the foundational pass in weaving a raffia mat (dɛŋglɛ). He uses his right hand to pull an inward strand upward and outward as he wraps it over his left forefinger in warp position, placing it to the right of another warp strand whose layers have separated while wrapped on his finger.
