H’Lan Êban has created a small cylinder of clay and inserted her thumbs in the centre. As she turns around the stand, she now presses the edges between her thumbs and fingers to compact the clay and enlarge the opening. In the background, we can see H’Loan Bkrong going through the same process for a cooking pots (gŏ).
