Faqir Namr

Faqir Nemr, a religious man from the Faqir caste of the Ezidi religion, wearing his black coat and a felt hat. Faqir Nemr wears his felt hat throughout the year, removing it only when he is working in his field of crops. Faqirs are very respected among the Ezidis and belived to have healing powers. Under his felt hat, Faqir Namr wears a sacred round woven hat called Kulik that has rays similar to the sun. The woven hat is kissed by Faqir Namr when he takes it down.
