The pottery is fired in an open fire that can be made anywhere in an open space. Yo Khanh is the only one to have a special structure : a pit in the ground, 30-35cm deep for around 1.5m in diameter. It is called "băng trôm bup" in Mnong. She sometimes also fire outside of the fire pit, if she has not cleaned it or if the fire is big.
