Fitting the first garboard plank

A tied-off wooden lever maintains the pressure on one end of the first garboard plank, keeping it in place against starboard sided face of the keel. A second lever is being applied to the middle of the plank, behind. Once in place the plank can be spiled (shaped) against the keel.
