Fitting the first garboard plank

Boat builder Dipak Mondal (R) ties off a bamboo lever pressing the first garboard plank against the starboard sided face of the keel for spiling and shaping. Meanwhile, brother Dilip (L) begins the process of presenting the first port-side garboard plank to the keel for fitting.
