Ki’Nonh village has been settled in its current place in 2014. Before that time, Katu people living there were scattered in smaller groups in non-fixed villages. Especially during the Vietnam War, people moved around a lot, but mostly staying in the same area (up to 10m away from the current village). The village of Ki’Nonh as it is today, has been mostly built by the Vietnamese government to settle down population that were half-nomadic. The village, settled near the only clay source of the region, houses the last of the only Katu potters of Vietnam.

Làng Ki’Nonh đã được đặt ở vị trí hiện tại vào năm 2014. Trước thời điểm đó, người Katu sinh sống ở đây nhưng rải rác thành các nhóm nhỏ hơn trong các làng không cố định. Làng Ki’Nonh như ngày nay phần lớn được chính phủ Việt Nam xây dựng cho những người dân sống nửa du mục định cư.
