Nguyễn Tấn Ánh is placing small blocks of clay into the machine used to grind the clay into powder. It the past this was done by breaking the clay into small pieces with a large wooden mallet then sifted using a traditional bamboo fibre sieve. We can see the powdered clay going out of the machine.
