Handover rituals following the launch of the chhot boat

Boat builder Amol Mondal places offerings to the deity at the prow of the chhot boat during the handover ritual. The offerings include fruits such as banana, apple and guava, paddy, perched rice, puffed rice, and sweets made of milk and sugar candy.
