Handover rituals following the launch of the chhot boat

Boat builder Amol Mondal pours sacred liquid (holy water mixed with milk) on the stem head of the chhot boat during the handover ceremony. The owner of the boat receives the poured water from the chief boat maker, but as the owner was absent, a villager agreed to take his place and receive the holy water on his behalf.
