Inside the common house of Ki’Nonh village 3/4

Ki’Nonh village has been settled in its current place in 2014, mostly built by the Vietnamese government to settle down population that were half-nomadic. They provided the Katu people with a traditionnal common house. In this house are kept many relics of the Katu culture, to be transmitted to younger generation. As the only clay source of the area is situated nearby, Katu people from Ki’Nonh (before the village was settled) were known to produce pottery. Ancient pots are thus kept in the common house as an heritage. Some unfired pots are also kept. They were made during pottery classes that took place in the village in 2016 and 2018.
