Hilt of deer antler carved with motifs and an anthropomorphic figure; the handle plaited with rattan; sheath of light red meranti lashed with rattan and copper wire; the sheath carved and adorned with wild boar canine tooth; waist string of tree bark fibre; the blade neatly carved and with brass tube inlay. The ilang knife was taken by the Iban during the war expedition against the Kayan
