Hilt of deer antler carved with motifs and anthropomorphic figure; the handle plaited with rattan; sheath of light red meranti lashed with rattan and copper wayer; the sheath carved and adorned with wildboar canine tooth; waist string of tree bark fibre; the blade neatly carved and with brass tube inlay. The ilang knife was taken by the Iban during the war expedition against the Kayan
