A photo of a lime kiln (K01) in Delvinë, general drone view . The entrance for feeding the wood is discerned; the stone dome that would undergo burning was built inside the permanent stone structure that is shown in the picture. In the neighbouring area there is the quarry from where the stone would be collected. Also, car tyres are discerned as during the last firings of the kiln, the masons were trying to use car tyres as a fuel instead of wood for which they could not easily anymore get a licence to collect (a practice that has recently been noted in other areas of the country, like in Kruje, North Albania and is now criminalised by Albanian government for environmental and public health reasons).
