Making a rabbet for the hood end of the sub-sheer strake

Boat builder Dilip Mondal uses a hammer and chisel to make the rabbet for the hood end of the first sub-sheer-strake (naba dali) plank, starboard side. Brother Dipak (R) and father Panchanan (hands only visible) hold the plank in place.
