Making the edge rebate for the sub-sheer strake

Boat builder Dipak Mondal (L) uses a hammer and chisel to make the edge-rebate for the starboard sub-sheer-strake plank amidships. Note the rebate is stepped in the opposite manner to the edge rebates of the planking below.
