Marking a through beam for the making of a rebate that will sit over the the starboard sub-sheer strake

Working at the starboard stern quarter, boat builder Amol Mondal uses a pencil to mark a line on the outboard underside of a through beam, corresponding to the curve of the starboard sub-sheer strake (naba dali), to indicate where a recess should be cut in the through beam that will sit over the sub-sheer strake.
