A mechanical press-mould machine in the corner of Denis Huskić's workshop, Gračanica. Used for producing standardised open forms such as plant-pots and straight-sided bowls, these have the potential to produce pots more quickly that on the wheel, allowing them to be sold more cheaply. These were used in the past to produce plant-pots which could then be sold cheaply to complete with plastic and other mass-produced products. They were fairly common in the workshops of professional 'foot-wheel' potters in Bosnia, north Croatia and, especially, Serbia but did not find favour amongst the majority of potters and are rarely used these days.
