Boatbuilder Amol Mondal carries two baskets of hibiscus and sweets (pera) wrapped in sal leaf (of the Shorea robusta tree) as a prasad, or offering to the deity, in the Bargabhima Temple, Tamluk, West Medinipur district, West Bengal. Amol is visiting tht temple following completion of construction of the chhot boat. .
