An Edo-period paper sword sheath (katanabukuro) which is a protective case for the scabbard, often made of cloth. This sheath is stencil-printed and both the shell and lining are wrinkled paper (momigami). This sheath is adorned with a floral motif on both the lining and outer shell. This is in the collection of Satō Kamiko Workshop
