A bowl containing a red plaster mix sits on the ground next to blocks of oxidized soil that colour the mixture. Women use the pigment to decorate the walls of a coursed earth atakpame house built on the grounds of the Banda Cultural Centre. Banda-Ahenkro, Banda District, Ghana.
