Pot to steam rice after preforming on wet clay in Buôn Trấp village

The potter has created the basic shape of the pot to steam rice using fresh clay. The pot will now dry for a few days beore going for the next phase: the potter will cut off the bottom of the pot, turn the pot upside down, and with a wet clay, will shape the new opening as an open rim.

Chiếc nồi bây giờ sẽ được để khô trong vài ngày trước khi chuyển sang giai đoạn tiếp theo: người thợ gốm sẽ cắt bỏ đáy nồi, úp ngược chiếc nồi xuống và dùng đất sét ướt sẽ tạo hình phần lỗ mở thành một chiếc miệng vành.
