The potter, Yo Khoanh, just dug up two baskets of clay with the help of Mai Kim. She poses with her tool in front of the basket of clay. The tool is called pal siːr tɛh (lit. Mortar dig earth), it can also be used to dig up bamboo shoots or dig holes for pillars when constructing the houses.
