Pottery kiln in Phù Mỹ village 2/2

The pottery kiln is located in the backyard of the house, under a metallic sheet roof. It is a circular structure with two levels, mostly made of bricks and clay. 1.The first level is a circular wall measuring about 3m in diameter, 60cm high and 45cm wide. It has four doors measuring about 40x25cm, through which the fire is lit and kept going. 2.The second level is a circular wall constructed on top of the first one. It measures about 1m high for 20cm wide. It is secured by metallic wired wrapped around the wall and tensed by wooden sticks placed vertically all around the external wall. The internal wall aligns with the internal wall of the first level, creating a plateform of about 25cm on top of the first wall and around the second one. There is also a third, removable level that is not set up on this picture.
