Pottery tool kit in Kon Tơ Xing village

On this picture figures all the tools that the potter uses to shape the pottery, with the preform of the bowl/lid (Klơ đơ̆p) that she just finished. We can see : - a container with water and a wet rag. She uses here one of her own pottery, called gŏ in bahnar - a simple stick, called long, that she uses to smooth the surface of the pot. - a ring made of a bamboo slice, to scrape the surface of the pot, called kong. This tools are placed on a mat made of bamboo, called tơnar, that, covered by banana leaves, is used as a support to make potter.
