Bùi Thị Lệ sitting in front of her wheel has create a small rough out on top of the lump of clay. For a small and simple shape as the one she’s currently making, she does not need to shape the rim. Thus, still spining the wheel with her left hand, she uses her finger to shape what will be the top of the lid, narrowing the junction between the object and the lum of clay

Bùi Thị Lệ ngồi trước bàn xoay để tạo một đường gồ ghề nhỏ phía trên cục đất sét. Đối với hình dạng nhỏ và đơn giản như hình bà đang làm, bà không cần phải tạo hình cho phần vành. Vì thế, tay trái vẫn xoay bàn xoay, bà dùng ngón tay để tạo hình phần trên của nắp, thu hẹp phần tiếp giáp giữa nồi và cục đất sét.
