Preforming a miniature lid (nắp) in Phù Mỹ village 2/2 : removing the pot from the wheel

Bùi Thị Lệ sitting in front of her wheel has shaped a miniature lid. She now puts her hand under it, taking the small piece of clay linking the lid to the lump of clay between her index and middle finger. She narrows it until the lid is removed from the lump of clay. She leaves a small piece of clay in the middle of the lid, that will be later shaped into a knob.
