Preforming on leather hard clay of basin (chàu) in Phù Mỹ village, step 3 : adding the handles

This basin has been made, left to dry for a whole day and night and reworked. It now has its final form. Nguyễn Thị Phương has created a hole in the pot’s wall to insert some clay that she shapes as the handle of the pot. On the opposit side of the handle, we can see the point where she has smoothed the inside of the other handle to have a smooth surface again.
