Preforming on wet clay of a small cooking pot in Ki’Nonh village 1/3 : rounding out the walls 1/2

Once she has created a regular hollow cylinder, potter Bling Thị Thuáh, still turning around the pot, uses a wet slice of sugar cane with her right hand on the inside of the pot and hre left hand as support on the outside. This action not only regularises the thickness of the walls but the pressure also rounds the belly of the pot.
