Preforming the bottom of a cooking pot in Kon Tơ Xing village : Checking the regularity of the pot

The bottom of the pot has to be shaped after a drying time. It can be done only on a clay that is hard enough to be manipulated without losing its shape but still flexible enough to modify that shape. The bottom has already been scraped on the edge to take out its sharp edge and pushed out from the inside to round its shape. Y Gah is using a stick to measure the height of the pot and check that the height is regular all around the pot.
