The bottom of the pot has to be shaped after a drying time. It can be done only on a clay that is hard enough to be manipulated without losing its shape but still flexible enough to modify that shape. The bottom has already been scraped on the edge to take out its sharp edge. Y Gah is now pushing the bottom out from the inside to give it it’s round shape.
