Preforming the bottom of a cooking pot in Kon Tơ Xing village : Scratching the outside 3/4

The bottom of the pot has to be shaped after a drying time. It can be done only on a clay that is hard enough to be manipulated without losing its shape but still flexible enough to modify that shape. The bottom has already been scraped on the edge to take out its sharp edge. Y Gah is now pushing the bottom out from the inside, and, on the outside, she spreads a bit of clay to erase the cracks created by the pushing and regularise the thickness of the bottom.
