Bùi Thị Lệ takes a large amount of clay and rolls it on a wooden board next to her wheel, to form cylinder of about 40cm hight for 15cm in diameter. She usually prepares several of those cylinder in one go. She will then place it in the center of the wheel and will proceed to make several pots out of the lump of clay.
