Ritual for the firing in Phù Mỹ village 5/5 : disposing of the food offering

When starting the firing, a tray of offering is placed on a flat basket next to the pottery kiln and a prayer is made in front of it. The offerings are left for around 5 minuts. Afterwards, the offerings are disposed of : the paper offering are burnt, the incense is placed in front of the kiln, the incense is placed on the kiln and the food is eaten by the workers during a break. Nguyễn Thị Phương, Bùi Thị Lệ and Trương Thị Hoa are enjoying the vietnamese dessert called chè. The offering tray placed on the table in front of them contains a plate of sticky rice with peanuts and shred coconut, bowls of a Vietnamese dessert called chè, some cookies and sweets and a bunch of longan (long nhãn).
