Ritual in Thanh Hà village : burning incense

On the workbench in the woirkshop, three incense sticks are have been burnt in an uncooked pot on the eve of the 1s of the lunar month. It is a regional tradition that on the eve of the 1st and the 15th of each month of the lunar calendar, each household has to pray in the house and burn three incense stick in the house and the work spaces. For potters, this means the following locations: the workshop, in front of the kiln and on the storage pile of clay.
