Bùi Thị Lệ sits in front of her wheel with a lump of clay centered on it. She has used a wet cloth to create a regular rounded shape on top of the lump of clay. Then she has pressured with the tip of her fingers, inserting her right thumb in the center of the lump of clay and creating the curve of the outside wall of the pot. Here, keeping her hand in the same position, she brings the walls up.
