Ma Ly has add a coil to the body of her flower pot. She now draws the clay up, to shape the walls of the pot. To do so, she uses her left hand as a support on the inside and scraps the outside of the walls with the external face of her bent right index finger, drawing the clay up, creating a flat wall with a roll of clay on top. She walks regularly forward around the stand to repeat this operation all around the rough out.
