Ma Ly has created a rough out by drawing of a lump and regularised the upper part. She now places her left hand on the inside of the pot and her right hand on the outside and, by applying pressure from her fingers on the rim of the pot, she slides her hands along the edge while she walks forward around the stand. While doing so, she slightly changes her pressure to turn the rim outward.
